Her career began in product development at Ralph Lauren and Coach in New York, where she built deep expertise in design and technical innovation within luxury retail. She later served as Creative Director at Stitch Fix during a key phase of growth, and led culturally informed creative strategy for Walmart’s fashion and beauty e-commerce division. Courtney also co-founded the brand arm of Mercado Global, a Clinton Global Initiative–recognized nonprofit partnering with Indigenous artisans in Guatemala—work that continues to shape her systems-led approach to equity and sustainability. Her commitment to regeneration deepened through advanced study at Harvard University’s Sustainability Graduate Program and Forum for the Future’s SPARK Leadership Program. In 2020, she co-founded Future Foreword as a learning community for leaders transforming fashion and textiles. It evolved into a creative studio in 2024, where she now leads strategy and design across product, brand, and organizational transformation. Her practice is grounded in immersive work in Bolivia, India, and Central America, where she developed a firsthand understanding of how traditional knowledge systems can inform contemporary innovation. She lives in Marin County, California, where she brings the same curiosity, discipline, and joy to her work as she does to her life outdoors.
